Getting people to share what they would not otherwise share rarely works; they already share certain moments on their own (Albert Cheng, formerly of Duolingo).

Overview
Find where users already take screenshots or show their phone to someone, and put design into those screens, instead of adding share buttons elsewhere. Duolingo did this for streak milestones and funny challenges; Sequel designed its detail screen for the friend looking at it.
Fits when
- Products with moments people already show others: milestones, results, funny or beautiful output
- Teams able to log screenshot events by screen, or to ask users what they share
- Apps whose screens get seen by someone else in person (Sequel)
